A British textile designer was inspired by David Bowie's classic song "Space Oddity" to create this design, which was then hand-embroidered by Indian artisans using Aali hand-embroidering techniques.
The masterpiece SPACE ODDITY itself was inspired by the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey.
A popular design from TARA BLANCA features a scarf with many small motifs scattered all over it, such as the sun, moon, planets, stars, spaceships and astronauts.
Although the design may look childish as a print, it is finished with intricate and detailed hand embroidery, making it a piece that will appeal to the playful side of adults.

This lightweight wool and silk fabric is woven with dark purple warp threads and fuchsia pink weft threads. The dark purple fringe adds an accent.
