Product Details

The scarf is accented with pink edging.
The legendary Kashmir embroidery was once used to lavishly adorn the bodies of maharajas and was beloved by the upper classes of Europe.
The raw wool of cashmere goats that live in the highlands of Kashmir is handwoven into shawl fabric using the finest, softest wool, and then embroidered to create a shawl. The 100% cashmere material is carefully woven with extremely fine, hand-spun yarn, and then hand-embroidered by skilled artisans with great care, stitch by stitch.
You can feel the soft, clingy texture and exquisite feel when you wear it. Woven from extremely fine cashmere threads, it has a superb feel and beautiful drape, and the delicate hand embroidery gives it a glossy feel throughout the entire stole. This is a special piece that will make you feel elegant when you wear it.
These shawls are perfect for formal occasions, parties, and ceremonies, but you can also add them to your everyday wardrobe to enjoy coordinating a high-quality shawl with your daily wardrobe, and enjoy the exquisite comfort of wearing them on a daily basis, which may be the best way to reward yourself.
It can be used in three seasons other than midsummer: autumn, winter, and spring.
The process of making a shawl starts with spinning raw wool into fine thread, then goes through the hands of various specialists in each step, such as detailed hand weaving on a loom, dyeing, and applying embroidery patterns to the fabric, before finally reaching the hands of a hand embroiderer. The ultra-delicate and intricate hand embroidery is the result of traditional techniques that have been carefully cultivated in Kashmir, where it is produced.
It is said that Napoleon brought it back from his expedition and it became a big hit among the ladies of Europe. They must have been moved by the artistic beauty of the hand embroidery and the softness and drape of the finest hand-woven cashmere.
Portraits from that time still show European ladies wearing Kashmir shawls as their dresses. While the number of people who carry on this traditional art is decreasing year by year, Kashmir shawls woven with rare traditional techniques are still loved by those who appreciate their value.
